About Pastor Anderson
Pastor Rex Anderson was born June 15, 1966. He is the eldest of eight siblings of the late Deacon Sherman and Deaconess Carolyn Milton. He is a native of Dade City, Florida and graduated from Pasco High School in 1985. He also served in the United States Marine Corp for four years.
He received a Master of Theology from Life Christian University, Tampa, Florida, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Slidell Baptist Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Life Christian University, Tampa, Florida. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Life Christian University, Dade City Extension Campus. Even though Pastor Anderson enjoys cooking, fishing, golfing, bowling, and reading, he most enjoys studying, teaching, and preaching God's Word.
Pastor Anderson has been in the ministry for 31 years. He received his license to preach on July 8, 1984, and was ordained on August 23, 1992. He has served as a Sunday School teacher, Associate Minister, Youth Pastor, Conference Speaker, and Revivalist. He served as Senior Pastor of New Jacob's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clermont, Florida, for 19 years. He is a shepherd that shepherd's his home first. It is his belief that we "Enter to Worship and Depart to Serve".
Pastor Anderson is married to Trudy M. Hansberry, who is also a native of Dade City. They are the proud parents of two sons, Jarrett and Joshua, and the grandfather of two.
